CJ.’s latest single, “Steppin’ Out,” is a collaboration with Proppa, released on the respected underground label Hood Politics. This track merges house, funk, and hip-hop elements, delivering an experience with its tight drums, rumbling bass, and nostalgic touches. Fans can look forward to live performances of “Steppin’ Out” at Denver’s Regenerate Festival in June and Chicago’s North Coast Festival over Labor Day weekend.

“I’m super stoked for this track to be coming out. Proppa and I had been fans of each other’s music for a little while now. Through mutual friends we started an online friendship which led to instant musical chemistry. Through multiple Skype studio sessions and some deep sample digging this top tier party tune came together. I love this track because it perfectly touches on both our production styles and it has been constantly ripping dance floors since conception. Could not be more excited to share it with the world!” – CJ.

CJ. draws inspiration from Daft Punk, Chris Lake, and A-Trak, blending eclectic influences into his unique sound. With 60k monthly Spotify listeners and releases on labels such as Hood Politics, Candy Flip, and Chorou Records, CJ. is a notable presence in the house music scene, to say the least. Known for his high-energy shows, CJ. creates unforgettable experiences that leave audiences eager for more.
