Dua Lipa Returns With Style On ‘Future Nostalgia’ Ahead Of New Album In 2020

British pop queen Dua Lipa is back in full force, following the release of ‘Don’t Start Now’, she’s now hitting us with a funky number called ‘Future Nostalgia’ that exudes fun vibes. It’s also the title track of her forthcoming album.

Up until this past month, the hitmaker had remained relatively quiet since the release of her deluxe version of her self-titled debut album in 2018, penning only motion picture soundtrack “Swan Song” and “Electricity” with Diplo and iconic producer Mark Ronson under their moniker “Silk City”.

While “Don’t Start Now” has already clocked up a cool 150 million streams, the arrival of ‘Future Nostalgia’ so soon is a surprise. On the release she doesn’t follow a typical pop formula, it’s backed with a throwback beat and Daft Punk-esque funky french vocoders and electronic sounds.

When it comes to the lyrics Lipa mixes in a catchy crisp creative flare and references famous architect John Lautner, a prodigy of innovative architect Frank Loyd Wright.

The new single is taken from her album “Future Nostalgia” due in 2020 via Warner Records which she is expected to tour worldwide, with the European dates already announced, kicking off in Spain in April, and finishing off in Ireland in June.
